Can I participate virtually in the Lima conference?

It is not possible to participate remotely in the conference. The idea of the hybrid elements is to connect the three hubs together - for example, participants from one hub can join some of the sessions of the others.

What is the difference between a single-site panel and a hybrid panel?

A single-site panel will take place at one of the three locations, and participants can attend from there. A hybrid panel will also take place physically at one of the three locations, but it will be live-streamed so that participants from the other hubs can attend.

Can I participate in the Lima conference as a university student?

Yes, students and researchers in the early stages of their careers are welcome to participate in the conference.

A hybrid panel means a panel that will be live-streamed so that all participants from the three hubs can access it. A hybrid plenary session means the same, but not in parallel panels, rather in a plenary session where all participants take part.
